Satgyan Fukuda

One of the finest bass players to grace reggae and world music, Satgyan was born in Yamanashi Japan. Also a solo artist of repute, his album ‘Liquid Passion’ is a meld of his reggae, dub and ambient influences and has been featured in as many as 11 compilations across Europe. His presence in Prem Joshua’s band is akin to that of a backbone – his ability to hold the groove at the centre is a reassuring presence and the ideal foil to the act’s eclectic sound.
